Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers, before the conversation.
A plain look at how we work, what to expect, and how a relationship begins.
Working with us
You gain professional research and analysis, a portfolio structured around your specific goals, and relief from the burden of managing it yourself. Just as important, you have someone giving your investments personal attention through all market conditions.
We are independent, trustworthy, and highly personalized, with an objective and unbiased process. Beyond investments, you gain coordinated access to tax, estate, and retirement expertise through our affiliated firms — so the disciplines that shape your wealth work from the same picture.
No. Betro | Mileszko & Company, Betro & Company, P.C., and the Law Offices of Felix S. Betro are separate, affiliated firms, and you are welcome to engage one, two, or all three. Many clients begin with a single need — investments, tax, or estate planning — and coordinate more over time. Coordination is available whenever it is useful to you, never required.
No. Betro | Mileszko & Company (investment advisory), Betro & Company, P.C. (tax, accounting, and business valuation), and the Law Offices of Felix S. Betro (legal, Trust and Estates) are separate, affiliated professional entities. You may engage one, two, or all three under separate agreements.
Our process & fees
We follow a disciplined five-step process: identify your investment goals and risk tolerance; evaluate market and economic conditions; determine an appropriate asset allocation strategy; allocate to the desired funds; and monitor and rebalance as conditions or your goals change.
Our fees are designed to align our interests with yours. We charge an asset-based management fee, so we do better when you do better. We do not accept commissions from the companies we invest in, and we primarily use low-cost mutual funds and ETFs to keep your costs down.
The firm does not state a formal minimum, though its services are generally most suitable for clients with $250,000 or more to invest.
Accounts & reporting
We are available by phone and email, and we are glad to meet in person if you prefer. We communicate as often as you wish, and we conduct periodic reviews of your portfolio together.
Client assets are held in your name at an independent, qualified third-party custodian, which provides independent safekeeping of your assets. Your specific custodian is confirmed as part of onboarding.
You will receive monthly statements directly from your custodian, trade confirmations, and tax reporting. In addition, we provide a quarterly client report with market commentary from Betro | Mileszko.
Getting started
We begin with a conversation. From there, you complete the Confidential Investor/Client Profile so we can understand your goals, review a personalized proposal together, and establish and fund your accounts with our independent custodian — the firm handles the paperwork. To begin, call (508) 698-4949 or email jmileszko@betromileszko.com.
Our office is at 30 Mechanic Street, Suite 3, Foxboro, Massachusetts 02035. You can reach us at (508) 698-4949.
